MKK Sports Website is now Live

MKK Sports website is now Live, I have just finished developing it (The main website - the shop and designer was built by someone else). It has a user friendly design (I hope) and the CMS (Content Management System) I build I have been told is easy to use.

Devils Angels and Dating Short

I have been working on a short film lately Directed by Michael Cawood. I am working as a Digital Artist / 3D Generalist. It has been loads of fun so far and the progress we are all making is slowly picking up speed.

Here is a test of the environment effects. I created the Pixie Dust using sprite and expressions as well as a custom built control box written in mel. The background sky was done by Gary Whitton and the design of the God Rays was done by Bobb Strongman. A basic rig for the rays was done by myself.

This creature feeds off humans. As it feeds it grows human skin. This is a protection system it has imprinted into its DNA which helps it be a super predator.

Character done in ZBrush, Maya, and smoke done in Photoshop.
This was a little task I set myself. I wanted to create a character mainly using Zbrush and only then the rendering done in Maya - i did achieve this and I am quite happy with the outcome.

Then suddenly, the clock that previously did not work starts. The soldier looks up at the clock.

Close Up of Face

One of the scenes that i have been asked to animate was a 3 second clip of when the soldier looks through a crack in the fort to see a seagull flying away. I animated one clip and rendered it.I was then advised that it had too much movement that was not needed. So, after a few attempts and changing the animation dramatically i ended up with a shoot that the group were happy with.

High res model - Time consuming

I have been working on this high res model for ages now. I am getting closer to finishing the rigging but it is so time consuming. This is a screen shot of the high res hand. It is controlled by SDK. The hand is made up of a high res mesh (39952 faces), which is being controlled by a low res wrap deformer (990 faces). This was done so that the hand could be more detailed and not take for ever to rig.
